Pioneered by the French physician Dr. Michel Pistor in 1952, Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure that is widely used in Europe and now worldwide to treat various injuries and medical conditions.
Mesotherapy is recognised as a medical specialty in france. Mesotherapy targets problem areas with micro injections of conventional medicines, vitamins, minerals and amino acids. these injections are delivered directly into the mesoderm (middle layer of skin) hence this is called mesotherapy.
It is a very cost-effective treatment for skin rejuvenation. A variety of minerals, vitamins, amino acids and hyaluronic acid along wirh depigmenting agents are used.
A stronger fat dissolving medication is sometimes used for larger areas of fatty deposits. Some examples are ATX 101, aqualyx and PC,DC.
